Past Continuous Tense.


The Past Continuous Tense expresses something being done in the past.

Syntax = Subject/Complement + A past tense form of the (main) verb “Be” (auxiliary verb) + Main Verb+ing + Object/Complement.

# We were yelling at him.
# At that time, she was crying. …
