Using “We”

Important Note 1.

We is used for I by sovereigns, other rulers, and preachers when they issue declarations in very formal language.

# We Ravana, (The Great) King of Lankapura, declare our high pleasure in the service you have rendered to us.

# We hereby decree that from this day forth our subjects in that city shall enjoy special rights.

Important Note  2.

We is also used by speakers and writers in order to appear impersonal, and also make a greater impression. This is very common in the news paper articles, and sometimes called the 'Editorial We’.
