Distributive Adjectives.


Certain adjectives, sometimes called Distributive, denote quantity taken individually. They are : each, every, and either, with its negative neither.

Sometimes, for emphasis, each and every are used together, but this expression should not be used where only one of these words sufficient.

Note that Each and Every take singular verbs.

Each one of you has (NOT have) to be ready by half past six. 
Every boy or girl swims twice a week.
